Your Data

A plain-English rundown of what TCG E-Binder stores and how we treat it — no legalese. The short version: we only keep what’s needed to run your collection, and we don’t sell it.

What we store

Your account: email, the username and tag you choose, an optional display name and profile image, and either a securely hashed password or a link to your Google sign-in.
Your collection: the binders, decks, and cards you add — including quantities, owned/wishlist/traded status, your notes, prices you enter, and dates.
Social bits: your friends, friend requests, and notifications.
Basic technical info: standard server logs and limited security data (like rate-limit checks) to keep the app running and keep bots out.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell or rent your data.
We don’t run ads or third-party ad tracking.
We don’t use your collection for anything beyond giving you the app.

Who helps run the app

A few trusted services help us operate, and your data may pass through them only so the app works:

Google — optional “Sign in with Google.”
Cloudflare — the “verify you’re human” bot check and image hosting/CDN.
Render — app hosting and the database where your data lives.
TCGplayer — the source of card catalog and market-price data (this isn’t about you personally).

Public vs. private

Binders you mark public can be viewed by other users and discovered via a share link — so don’t put anything private in them. Everything else stays visible only to you. You control public/private per binder in its settings.

Keeping it secure

Passwords are stored hashed (with bcrypt), the site runs over HTTPS, and we use bot checks and rate limits on sign-in. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect your account.

Your control

You can edit or delete your binders, cards, and profile anytime in the app.
You control which binders are public.
Want everything gone? Email [[email protected]] and we’ll delete your account and its data.

Cookies & local storage

We keep your sign-in and app preferences in your browser’s local storage so the app remembers you. Google and Cloudflare may set their own cookies to provide sign-in and bot protection. We don’t use advertising cookies.

Kids

TCG E-Binder isn’t intended for anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 created an account, let us know and we’ll remove it.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. For anything significant, we’ll try to give a clearer heads-up in the app.
